it worked for me, i hope it save you aswell im using Android Studio(beta) 0.8.9 My R disappeared after i fiddled with sound files in my res/raw directory(converted them to different formats, figuring out how Sound Pool class works..suddenly there is red "R"'s everywhere! when you run again after cleaning and building the project.I removed all entries in the menu folder and then cleaned again. i really need to make a Video View in ADT eclipse work by displaying a video from a site like You Tube and my code below is not working as it keeps saying "cant play this video" , when i run it on my emulator.

Try closing Eclipse, click 'YES' in the SDK manager warning message (or re-run SDK manager again while Eclipse is not running). Click on the Processes tab and sort the processes according to the command line column.Error Parsing: C:\android-sdk_r24.2-windows\android-sdk-windows\system-images\android-22\android-wear\armeabi-v7a cvc-complex-type.2.4.d: Invalid content was found starting with element 'd:skin'. I have faced the same parse sdk loading problem during eclipse startup like yours (Shown in image below) The solution to above problem is to just delete(uninstall) the package Android Wear ARM EABI v7a system image available under Android 5.1.1 (API 22) if it's installed. May be there is some eclipse bug with this package. I was still getting the error after deleting ' Android Wear ARM EABI v7a system image'.Then I deleted ' Android Wear Intel x86 Atom System Image' under Android 5.1.1 (API 22) and finally all errors disappeared :) Error: Error Parsing C:\Android\sdk\system-images\android-22\android-wear\armeabi-v7a\Invalid content was found starting with element 'd: Skin'. Copy the default file from : /home/user/android-sdk/tools/lib/and paste it in the below paths: /android-sdk/system-images/android-22/android-wear/armeabi-v7a/ and /android-sdk/system-images/android-22/android-wear/x86/ This is a alternative solution, however, before replacing the devices.xml, take backup of the existing file in these folders.Though this issue can happens for any API version, so just see the error line and find out android api version from path and platform name and go to the android sdk manager and delete related system image from sdk manager.Error:(2) Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name 'android: Text Appearance.
